In celebration of the International Day of Yoga, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has launched a new line of wellness experiences under its J Wellness Circle brand. Key yoga principles, including mindfulness, wellbeing, and holistic living, will form the basis of the program, which will be held at various participating hotels.

Sessions of Dhyana Yoga will kick off the initiative’s schedule of events, which will also feature live flute performances, sound therapy with Indian instruments, and traditional dhoop rituals. At the hotels’ all-day eateries, guests may also learn about Satvik cuisine through Jnana Yoga sessions.

Evening events will incorporate Bhakti Yoga-themed introductory yogic practices, chanting, and sunset ceremonies with diya lighting to foster contemplation and community.

Involvement of IHCL’s associates in Karma Yoga events is another way the initiative is going beyond visitor experiences. Programs that aim to promote environmental wellness and community engagement include tree planting initiatives, plogging walks, and neighbourhood clean-up drives.

As stated by the organization, the program’s creators aimed to promote holistic health by integrating psychological, social, and spiritual aspects. The goal of the events is to encourage participants to live more sustainably, with more mindfulness and self-awareness.

All of the hotels in IHCL’s portfolio are part of J Wellness Circle, a wellness platform that provides a variety of treatments and experiences with an Indian heritage.

The world comes together every year on June 21 to celebrate the International Day of Yoga with events that aim to improve people’s physical and mental health as well as their capacity for mindfulness.
