With the addition of Hermitage Hotel & Resort on May 28, Starhotels will officially join the resort segment under its Starhotels Collezione brand. The hotel, which has 59 rooms and suites ideal for long stays, is situated in Forte dei Marmi in the Versilia area of Italy and extends over 1.5 hectares of private grounds. Guests can enjoy the hotel’s indoor and outdoor eating areas, poolside bar, organic garden, and family-friendly amenities.

One of the resort’s restaurants, Orto all’Hermitage, serves up pizza and barbecue in addition to more informal fare that highlights seasonal and local ingredients. A private electric shuttle service is available on the property to take visitors to the beach.

One family-friendly amenity is a special play area for kids where they may participate in activities like treasure hunts, Lego Lab, and Circus Lab.

Rather than being confined to the conventional notion of a beach hotel, Hermitage offers guests an immersive experience in nature, according to Elisabetta Fabri, President and CEO of Starhotels. We aimed for this same thing when we designed our first resort: a haven where people could relax and unwind in an understated style that exudes sophistication without drawing attention to itself.

As we reflect on our own childhood memories of carefree summers in Italy, we are transported back in time by the garden’s romantic ambiance, the homely vibe, and the genuine engagement with guests. An event that allows peace and relationships to blossom once more. The goal of Hermitage is not to make an impression. But it works anyhow. Given how uncommon it is. Since it remains concealed. Reason being, once found, it’s hard to lose sight of.
