Rooted in nearly a century of royal legacy and pioneering heritage hospitality in India, The Ajit Group announces the strategic strengthening of its sales leadership team. 

with the appointments of Mr. Granth Kapoor as Associate Director of Sales and Mr. Depinder Pal Singh as Sales Manager. Both appointments underscore the Group’s focused approach to driving growth and expanding the market presence of its iconic heritage destinations—Ajit Bhawan, Jodhpur and Rawla Narlai.

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Granth Kapoor joins as Associate Director of Sales, bringing extensive expertise in luxury hotel sales and revenue-driven leadership. His professional journey spans respected hospitality brands including IHG, Marriott Hotels, ITC Hotels, and The Metropolitan Hotel. In his role as Associate Director of Sales, Granth will oversee overall sales strategy and market development for Ajit Bhawan and Rawla Narlai, strengthening brand positioning and revenue performance across key markets.

Joining him, Depinder Pal Singh, a graduate of IHM Pusa, New Delhi, brings over a decade of experience across India’s luxury hospitality landscape. In his role as Sales Manager, based in Delhi, Depinder will lead market-specific sales initiatives, focusing on enhancing brand visibility, strengthening trade and corporate partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth for Ajit Bhawan and Rawla Narlai. He began his career with ITC Maurya in Room Reservations and has since worked with leading hospitality brands such as Hyatt (Andaz Delhi), The Grand New Delhi, IHCL – Vivanta, New Delhi, and The Lodhi, New Delhi. Most recently, Depinder was associated with Amritara Hotels & Resorts as Deputy Sales Manager, where he handled sales for a portfolio of 24 hotels and resorts across India, overseeing key North Indian markets.

Ajit Bhawan and Rawla Narlai are enduring symbols of Rajasthan’s royal legacy. Built in 1927 as the residence of Maharaj Dhiraj Sir Ajit Singh of Marwar–Jodhpur, Ajit Bhawan holds the distinction of being India’s first private residence converted into a heritage hotel, offering vintage rooms, suites, and immersive royal experiences in the heart of Jodhpur. 

Rawla Narlai, a 17th-century fortress set in the Aravalli hills between Jodhpur and Udaipur, has been sensitively restored into a boutique heritage retreat, celebrated for its iconic Stepwell Soirée, immersive dining concepts, and nature-led explorations of the Godwar region.
