Roseate House New Delhi, in collaboration with the High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus, invites guests to experience ‘Cyprus on a Plate’, an exclusive culinary residency by acclaimed Cypriot chef, culinary consultant and food anthropologist Chef Eleni Michael, from 11th to 17th June 2026 at DEL, Roseate House New Delhi.
Chef Eleni Michael is a culinary consultant and food anthropologist originating from Cyprus. Her international career has evolved from front-of-house roles in Michelin- starred restaurants including Evelyn’s Table and Hide Above, alongside luxury hotels such as Firmdale Hotels and The Savoy in London, to professional kitchen experience and culinary residencies across London, Tuscany and Kyoto. Formerly Head of Research & Development at Masque in Mumbai, Chef Eleni led menu development informed by fieldwork on indigenous Indian food traditions, while also co-designing menus for international collaborations including 3-Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park, New York.

For her residency at Roseate House New Delhi, she returns to her Mediterranean roots through a contemporary Cypriot menu that is ingredient-driven, bringing together seasonal produce, charcoal grilling, and the warmth and generosity of the Cypriot table.

At DEL, the rotating menu will showcase authentic Cypriot favourites such as Grilled Halloumi with Watermelon & Tomato Vinaigrette, Kolokithokeftedes (courgette and feta fritters), Village Salad, Halloumi-Filled Ravioles, Pork Souvlaki, Kleftiko Lamb, and Oven-Baked Red Snapper with Potatoes, Tomato & Onion. Guests can conclude their culinary journey with traditional desserts including Anarokrema, a delicate ricotta cream and vermicelli dessert, and Doukissa, Cyprus’ beloved chocolate biscuit cake.
Blending cultural storytelling with exceptional gastronomy, ‘Cyprus on a Plate’ offers diners a rare opportunity to discover the rich culinary heritage of the Mediterranean island nation in the heart of New Delhi.
