Together with the Magic Bus India Foundation, the Eros Hotel New Delhi organised a plantation drive to celebrate World Environment Day. The event brought together children and members of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) to raise awareness about the need of protecting the environment.
The event, which took place on the hotel grounds, aimed to encourage community involvement in sustainability and environmental protection. The kids helped plant seedlings while also learning about trees and how they make our planet a better place to live.
The program’s stated goal was to inspire youth to take environmental responsibility and show how collective effort may create a better, more sustainable future.
The hotel’s larger initiatives towards socially responsible hospitality and community involvement include the planting drive. The hotel maintains its support for programs that help to social and environmental wellness through its affiliation with organisations like the Magic Bus India Foundation.
“Sustainability is not just a value; it is a way of life at Eros Hotel New Delhi,” stated Davinder Juj, general manager of the hotel, during his speech at the event. Our singular emphasis on the three R’s—Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse—highlights our dedication to environmentally friendly activities as a responsible company. We strive to reduce our environmental effect and increase operational efficiency and sustainability by implementing following practices: efficient management of power, water recycling programs, and repurposing valuable resources whenever possible.
At the end of the event, the kids and CWC members had an interactive session where they discussed sustainable practices and how important it is to take care of the environment.
