Building on a year of robust growth and active destination marketing, the Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) has reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the Indian outbound travel market. To strengthen its presence, TTA has signed an exclusive partnership agreement, ensuring continuity in strategic growth through enhanced marketing, trade engagement, promotions, and public relations in India.

Since re-entering the Indian market post-pandemic in January 2024, Taiwan has emerged as one of the fastest-growing destinations for Indian travelers. In 2024, 38,158 Indian visitors traveled to Taiwan, marking a 20.81% year-on-year increase. The momentum has continued in 2025, with 22,687 arrivals between January and June, reflecting 22.01% growth compared to the same period last year.

Placing this in perspective, Paul Shih, Director of TTA’s Singapore Office, said:
“As Taiwan’s official tourism agency, TTA remains committed to promoting the country to Indian travelers. The Indian outbound market has shown remarkable potential, and Taiwan has outpaced overall outbound growth from India by nearly 2.5 times last year. This reaffirms our belief in the market’s strength.”

Following due procurement processes, TTA has renewed its contract with Blink Brand Solutions, appointing the agency as its official representative office in India for the second consecutive year. The India office will continue to design and execute market-specific campaigns, trade outreach, and media initiatives to boost Taiwan’s visibility and positioning as a unique tourism destination.

Highlighting the renewed partnership, Shih added:
“Continuation of this strategic association reflects our confidence in the Indian market and TTA India’s ability to deliver results. We aim to roll out pioneering initiatives that engage closely with travel industry partners, highlighting Taiwan’s diverse luxury offerings, incentive travel, adventure, golf tourism, and LGBTQ-friendly inclusivity. Our campaign ‘Taiwan – Waves of Wonder’ captures this wide spectrum of experiences.”

He further emphasised TTA’s intent to act as a long-term partner for India’s outbound travel trade, focusing on value creation through collaboration, feedback, and joint efforts.

Aligned with its global campaign “Taiwan – Waves of Wonder”, TTA is set to expand its product offerings and marketing outreach in India, positioning Taiwan as a destination that blends extraordinary value, inclusivity, and unforgettable holiday experiences for Indian travelers.
