Launching Gingalalahu, an Indian craft dry gin, DeVANS Modern Breweries has entered the premium gin category, adding to its portfolio of luxury spirits.
Produced in small batches of 200 litres and bottled at 42.8% alcohol by volume (ABV), Gingalalahu adheres to the standards of a traditional dry gin by distilling it with nine different botanicals. It is free of artificial flavours and sweeteners. The distillery claims that its small-batch pot still method yields a well-rounded taste character in their gin.
Launching Gingalalahu is a major step for DeVANS as they join the premium craft gin market, according to Prem Dewan, Chairman & Managing Director of DeVANS Modern Breweries Ltd. These days, people are looking for genuine spirits made with care and quality. We have crafted Gingalalahu, a gin, to honour the best of what nature has to offer by combining it with small-batch distillation methods and the finest botanicals. Even before Gingalalahu hit store shelves, it garnered praise from esteemed international spirits contests and industry insiders for its exceptional craftsmanship. As we present Gingalalahu to consumers, this award is a reflection of our dedication to quality. We are excited to announce that our mission to make premium Indian spirits with utmost authenticity has been launched.
Jammu, Chandigarh, Gurugram, and Goa are the current retail locations for Gingalalahu, with Delhi NCR and Mumbai to follow in the next weeks.
