The Ramee Group of Hotels has strengthened its foothold in Maharashtra with the announcement of a new resort near Pawna Lake in Lonavala. This new venture is in line with the group’s strategy to increase its presence in outdoor, leisure-oriented locations.

The soon-to-be-built property is marketed as a leisure traveler’s drive-to destination in the Sahyadri mountain range region. The project is in line with the group’s plan to create location-driven experiences, lodging, and recreational amenities as part of their hospitality offerings in developing markets.

“Pawna Lake’s tranquil, nature-rich environment makes it a perfect fit for our experiential resort vision,” stated Saurabh Gahoi, Senior Vice President – India of Ramee Group of Hotels, when asked about the company’s plans to expand in Maharashtra. We hope to provide guests with stays that are both comfortable and filled with genuine local experiences and carefully selected recreational opportunities through this facility. In addition to a variety of eating options, including those by the pool, the resort will provide comfortable rooms with views of the surrounding area. Trekking, seasonal waterfalls, outdoor leisure, and bonfires are all available to guests. It will also have adaptable event areas perfect for small parties, special occasions, and business get-togethers.

The group’s operations in Maharashtra are already extensive, spanning cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Karjat, and Solapur; this deal further expands their portfolio in the state. This expansion shows how Ramee Group is trying to be a balanced player in the commercial and leisure markets.
