The global route network of LOT Polish Airlines, a member of Star Alliance, continues growing. From 31 March 2026, LOT Polish Airlines will serve Bologna, another European city and its fourth destination in Italy. For business travellers and tourists from India, this opens up a new and desirable travel option, allowing them to visit a city that may not be as world-famous as the Italian classics — Rome, Venice, and Milan — but is nonetheless most fascinating, via LOT Polish Airlines. There will be six flights a week, operated by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, with two departure times, making planning trips to Europe even more flexible.
The new non-stop flights from Warsaw to Bologna:
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday departure with LO-327 from Warsaw at 8:30h, arrival in Bologna at 10:40h
Every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday departure with LO-329 from Warsaw at 15:15h, arrival in Bologna at 17:25h

Those who wish to start their European journey in Bologna can conveniently fly from Delhi and Mumbai via Warsaw directly to this northern Italian city:
Departure from Delhi at 8:00h every Tuesday and Thursday; arrival in Bologna at 17:25h local time after 12:55 hours total travel time
Departure from Mumbai at 6:50h every Sunday; arrival in Bologna at 17:25h local time after 14:05 hours total travel time
“We know from many of our Indian guests that Italy is high on their bucket list when travelling to Europe. With Bologna, we are now offering them another top-class destination,” enthuses Amit Ray, Director India, DACH Markets, Italy + Malta and Head of Global Corporate and Strategic Sales at LOT Polish Airlines. “At the same time, we are delighted to continue expanding our network further. Having recently added new flights to cities such as Thessaloniki in Greece and Marrakesh in Morocco, air services to Malaga in Spain, Stavanger in Norway, and Rovaniemi on the Arctic Circle in Finland will soon follow.”
Luxury sports cars, world heritage, and the home of Italian cuisine
Bologna is in the Emilia-Romagna region. The city is famous for its medieval townscape, with countless red roofs and numerous arcades (almost 40 kilometres in total), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, making a stroll through the streets relaxing even in intense sun or rain. Bologna is also considered the home of Italian cuisine, not just because of its world-famous pasta alla Bolognese. Many of Europe’s great thinkers studied here at the oldest university in Europe, and the luxury sports car brand Lamborghini is also based near the city and has its own museum. Bologna is also well connected to the Italian high-speed rail network: Florence and Milan are less than an hour away, and Rome is less than two hours away.
