With the opening of its second Guwahati property at Paltan Bazar, Hotel Palacio now has three hotels in its portfolio, one of which is in Alipurduar. In addition to the launch, Palacio Hospitality also revealed a growth strategy worth Rs 800 crore, which aims to build ten facilities in the next ten years, mostly in the Northeast region.
Located in the heart of Guwahati, this new hotel is designed to meet the needs of business, transit, and leisure visitors, who are in high demand. Among the hotel’s amenities are 83 guest rooms, an indoor banquet hall with over 6,000 square feet of area, a rooftop venue with over 7,000 square feet, and various meeting and boardroom spaces.
The fact that Hotel Palacio was founded in Assam is a point of immense pride for us, according to Anup Poddar, Chairman of the Poddar Group.
Aspirations have risen, connectivity has improved, and the demand for high-quality hospitality experiences has grown in the Northeast over the years. Our main goal has always been to adapt to new circumstances by growing steadily and deliberately.
Poddar elaborated by saying that the city of Guwahati’s rising importance in the commercial and tourist sectors made the expansion there an obvious choice for the organization.
A long-term, disciplined approach to growth is reflected in our ₹800 crore expansion roadmap, according to Ankit Poddar, Managing Director & COO of Poddar Group. Although the Northeast remains our principal area of concentration, we are receptive to opportunities in other regions of India where we perceive a good fit.
A cocktail bar/listening room and Omara, a restaurant created in partnership with Vikey Ratnani, are also part of the property.
