In response to rising demand for dark chocolate and sugar-free options, ITC’s Fabelle Chocolates luxury chocolate brand has expanded its product line with a new 64% Dark Chocolate variety manufactured with cocoa from Ghana. Pralines and dark chocolate bars with a variety of flavour combinations are part of the new collection. A No-Added-Sugar Dark Chocolate Bar, Orange Eclipse, Cranberry Noir, and other products are available. Also new from the firm is Dark Symphony, a ten-piece assortment of sugar-free pralines comprising pistachios, hazelnuts, pecans, macadamias, and almonds.
Incorporating sophisticated chocolate-making techniques, such as ultra-fine particle size technology and extended conching, the collection is supposedly manufactured using premium cocoa from Ghana and uses these to improve the flavour and texture.
“The modern Indian consumer is rethinking indulgence, seeking greater transparency, balance, and choice without giving up on experience,” commented Subash Balar, Business Head – Confectionery, Chocolates & Coffee, ITC Ltd., in response to the launch statement. This is demonstrated by the meteoric rise of dark chocolate in India, which, according to reports from the industry, has surpassed the growth of traditional milk chocolate by more than 100% in the last five years. This is happening at the same time as the desire for sugar-free alternatives is on the rise. Fabelle is helping to shape a chocolate culture that is more refined and in line with modern consumers’ desires for indulgence.
The new collection can be purchased online or at Fabelle stores in certain cities.
