ATOAI aims to create awareness about and enable safe adventure, help create a pool of trained resources, grow the network of our members, facilitate business and generally help advance adventure tourism in India to the next level.

It is therefore our great pleasure to announce the formation of the Tamil Nādu ATOAI Chapter, which we believe will be a great opportunity to bring together the adventure tourism fraternity in Tamil Nādu. Mr. Sriharan Balan, Deputy Managing Director, Madura Travel Service (P) Ltd & Group, Tamil Nadu will assume charge as the ATOAI Chapter Chairman for Tamil Nadu.

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of Tamil Nādu intends to finalize adventure tourism guidelines for the state, and commence classification of adventure tour operators. This is a welcome step, and ATOAI will support Mr. Balan in overseeing these efforts as part of the proposed committee for adventure tourism.

We look forward to working closely with the state government and all our industry colleagues to further strengthen adventure tourism in Tamil Nādu and make it a favored destination internationally and in domestic markets.
