Amansanu, located in Texas Hill Country, is the company’s first ranch-style hideaway and sixth U.S. property, according to an announcement. The venture, which will be situated northwest of Austin, would comprise a resort with independent pavilions and a small number of fully serviced Aman-branded homes.

The property provides seclusion and views of the neighbouring valleys from its hilly, limestone cliff, and creek-lined setting. Olson Kundig has collaborated on the project’s design, which takes into account the local landscape and climate.

Aman Spa & Wellness Centre, numerous eating options, and a main lodge will be part of the complex, which will be situated along a natural creek. Racquet sports courts, hiking paths, and the first completely maintained stables of the brand are among the other facilities.

Houses will be built on hillside sites as small as 10 acres, with landscape-integrated outdoor terraces and open floor plans.

Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, commented “Aman’s presence in the United States, with Amangiri, Amangani and Aman New York, reflects our focus on creating rare sanctuaries in destinations defined by natural beauty and cultural depth. The hilly terrain and fierce individualism of Texas Hill Country exemplify these traits, which are in harmony with Aman’s guiding philosophy. Bringing a fresh take on the Aman brand to the Americas, Amansanu maintains the tranquillity, seclusion, and oneness with nature that are hallmarks of every Aman property.

Along with other forthcoming projects in Mexico, Miami, Beverly Hills, and The Bahamas, this one reinforces Aman’s pipeline in the Americas.
