The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) brings in a opportunity of a lifetime starting this September 3, 2026 with the grandest spiritual offering of the year, Dev Darshan Yatra: 3 Dham& 11 Jyotirlinga. Operating on the premium Bharat Gaurav Deluxe Tourist Train, this meticulously planned 18-day itinerary offers a worry-free, completely managed passage to the most powerful energy centers of Lord Shiva and Vishnu.

  • The 11 Jyotirlingas: Pay homage at Kashi Vishwanath (Varanasi), Baidyanath Dham (Deoghar), Mallikarjun, Bhimashankar, Grishneshwar, Trimbakeshwar, Nageshwar, Somnath, Mahakaleshwar (Ujjain), and Omkareshwar.
  • Cultural Icons: Explore the majestic Kailash Temple at Ellora (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the historic Panchvati in Nashik and the mythical remnants of Dhanushkodi.

Day wise activities:

The tour starts from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station for Varanasi. The train reaches Varanasi on day 2 where passengers visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and corridor along with boat ride before starting for the next destination Jasidih. After a day dedicated to the darshan of Baidyanathdham, the train tour arrives at Puri on the Odisha coast on day 4. After a leisurely visit of Jagannath dham and the Puri beach, and an overnight stay at Puri, the group proceeds for the next Jyotirlinga, Mallikarjun up in the hills.

On completion, the journey for the next destination i.e. Rameshwaram commences. Day 7 marks the arrival after a scenic island rail crossing. Post visit of Ramanathaswamy temple (second of the three dham), the next day along with other key sites like Dhanushkodi and Vibhishan Temple woven intricately with the Ramayana lore, the train commences its journey for Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga located in the Sahyadri hills. After a night halt at Pune followed by the darshan, the train proceeds for the next city, Chhatrapati Shambhajinagar. Kailash Temple at Ellora and Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga are the key sites to be explored here. Post sightseeing, the train starts for and arrives at Nashik which marks the closure of day 11. The next day starts with the excursion to Trymbakeshwar Jyotirlinga on the outskirts. Later after covering the holy site of Panchvati, the train chugs for the destination, a city that houses the last dham, Dwarka.

On arrival, the day is at leisure. On day 14, the devotees after an early morning darshan of Dwarkadhish, followed closely by Nageshwar Jyotirlinga and Beyt Dwarka board the train for the next destination, Somnath. At Somnath, the passengers will visit the eponymous temple, the adjoining beach and BhalkaTirth where Lord Krishna is believed to have left his mortal body and ascended for heaven. Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh is the next and the last city on this itinerary. After darshan at Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, the group proceeds for the 11th and the last Jyotirlinga of the circuit, Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga on the banks of Narmada before boarding the train for Delhi. The tour terminates on day 18 at Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station with a sense of profound peace and renewed purpose.
