With a specially planned food festival in May, Feast at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center will shine a light on Kerala’s rich culinary legacy, just as regional Indian cuisines are regaining popularity among urban diners. The festival is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru from May 16th to the 24th, 2026, and its stated goal is to bring the hospitality, flavours, and joy of coastal Kerala’s kitchens to the city.
A typical regional buffet would not be fitting for this year’s festival; instead, it will be a flavor-led homage to the many culinary traditions that make up Kerala. From the traditional staple Puttu to the refreshingly sweet Elaneer Payasam, the menu takes you on a gastronomic journey through the state’s varied moods. From the softly comforting Appam with Stew to the smoky, banana leaf-wrapped Meen Pollichathu, and everything in between. The concept aims to take customers on a culinary journey to Kerala without requiring them to leave their city, thanks to its emphasis on coconut-forward gravies, Malabari spices, and traditional regional cooking methods.
Beyond the culinary offerings, the event also has live music and fun activities for kids. Visitors looking to delve more deeply into Whitefield’s regional Indian cuisine, families, and weekend diners are the target audience for this family-friendly culinary adventure.
