Jaipur is once again set to welcome tourism experts, tour operators, and stakeholders from across the globe. The 14th edition of the Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) will be held from May 4 to 6, 2025, and will be jointly organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
The inaugural session will occur at Hotel Anantara on Tonk Road, while the leading exhibition and B2B sessions will be held at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC).

The Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan, Indian Heritage Hotels Association, and Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators are also supporting the event.

“Meet in India” Conclave 2025
A key highlight of this year’s GITB will be the “Meet in India” Conclave, to be held on May 4 at Hotel Novotel Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre. This national-level initiative is a joint effort by the Central and State Governments to position India as a global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination.

Mr. Dalip Singh Rathore, Joint Director, Department of Tourism, said, “GITB is more than a travel trade event — it is a platform for collaboration, dialogue, and future opportunities.” He added that 280 international tour operators from 55 countries will participate, and over 11,000 B2B meetings are scheduled.

Mr Rathore also highlighted Rajasthan’s evolving identity in tourism: “Rajasthan is no longer limited to its traditional attractions. Our goal is to develop the state into a multi-dimensional, experience-based destination, offering unique experiences tailored to different traveller interests.”

He emphasized that beyond Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Udaipur, cities like Ajmer, Pushkar, Bharatpur, Alwar, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Shekhawati, Kota, Bundi, Mount Abu, Chittorgarh, Sawai Madhopur, and Dholpur are emerging as new hubs for MICE tourism. With a strong transport, communication, world-class hotels, and conference centre infrastructure, Rajasthan has now considered a complete tourism package.

MICE Tourism in Rajasthan: A Blend of Heritage and Modernity
Rajasthan is gaining significant momentum as a preferred destination for MICE tourism:
• The state is home to 75% of India’s heritage hotels.
• Key cities offer world-class convention centres, luxury hotels, and conference facilities.
