Launched in Indiranagar, Bengaluru, The Dual Room is a new all-day hospitality facility that serves as a café during the day and a nightlife restaurant in the evening. Its positioning as a dual-format arena is an attempt to cater to the city’s social throng as well as its working professionals.
Throughout the day, the venue takes on different vibes, from a coffee-centric morning to a cocktail-centric evening. It aims to bring together the creative and urban population of Bengaluru by fusing café culture with nighttime dining.
Soudh Ibrahim, a coffee consultant and brewer with almost a decade of expertise in India’s coffee industry, is spearheading the project. The culinary program is crafted by Chef Hason Hudanish, who has designed separate menus for each hour of the day.
Pancakes, English breakfasts, functional smoothies, and drinks made with matcha are all part of the morning menu. In the evening, you’ll find a more international menu with dishes including grilled sandwiches, chicken ramen from Korea, empanadas, loaded tacos, and salmon ceviche.
Working in tandem with Spill It, we crafted a cocktail program based on the seven deadly sins. Guests are encouraged to select beverages according to their mood and experience rather than conventional classifications, as each drink is created to reflect a distinct emotional state.
The Dual Room is a cultural hub where individuals can effortlessly move between work, socialising, dining, music, and nightlife in one dynamic atmosphere, according to a spokeswoman.
Using a layered design approach, the interiors transition from a bright and cheery café during the day to a gloomier and more dramatic nightclub after dark.
One example of Bengaluru’s dynamic hospitality scene is the Dual Room, a place that combines café culture with evening dining.
