Every monsoon brings its own rituals. Some head out as the skies darken, drawn to the city’s unmistakable energy while others seek comfort in a steaming bowl after a day in the rain. This season, Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai embraces both with curated experiences at Opus, the all-day dining restaurant and AER, its iconic rooftop bar, inviting guests to experience the many moods of Mumbai’s rains.

Monsoon Bowls at Opus

While the monsoon paints Mumbai in shades of grey, Opus brings warmth to the table. From 9 to 26 July, Monsoon Bowls celebrates the rainy season with comforting flavours that evoke the warmth of home.

Inspired by flavours from around the world, the menu brings together thoughtfully crafted bowls that are both hearty and nourishing. Guests can choose from wholesome vegetarian creations such as the Millet Khichdi Power Bowl, Thai Rainforest Bowl, Monsoon Harvest Bowl and Caribbean Coconut Bowl, while those looking for bolder flavours can savour the Malaysian Laksa Bowl, available with chicken, prawns or tofu, the Dried Shrimp Congee Bowl, Smoky BBQ Chicken Bowl and the Southwest Lamb Bowl. Each dish is layered with vibrant ingredients, aromatic broths and seasonal flavours, making every bowl a comforting escape from the rain. Designed for working lunches that spill into the afternoon, leisurely family meals or anyone looking to linger a little longer as the rain pours outside.

THUNDER – A Storm of Spice & Sound at AER

34 floors above Mumbai, the monsoon looks different. The clouds move faster. The light changes every few minutes. And when a storm rolls in over the city skyline, there is nowhere better to be than AER.

Thunder, the latest chapter in AER’s Flavours of Monsoon series, from July 6 to 26, draws inspiration from the drama and intensity of Mumbai’s monsoon nights. The experience is bar-led and indulgent, featuring chili-laced flavours, heat-driven mixes and bold serves designed to awaken the palate.

Signature cocktails such as the Kokum Punch, crafted with Mahura, tamarind, ginger and kokum, the refreshing Toki Highball featuring Toki Suntory Whisky and chamomile, the savoury Roosevelt with Roku Gin and pickled onion and the spirit-forward Old Aires made with Laphroaig 10 Year Old and Amaro Abano showcase the bar’s distinctive take on monsoon-inspired mixology. Complementing the cocktails is a selection of spice-forward bar bites, while lively music sets the tone for an evening that’s energetic, immersive and unmistakably AER.
