At its Kolkata campus, NIPS Hospitality Group welcomed a delegation from New Zealand, consisting of hospitality employers, Vira International, and partners based in Auckland.

The goal of the recruitment and interaction program was to help students majoring in hospitality find internships and jobs abroad. During the session, participants interacted directly with international recruiters and participated in career orientation programs, assessments of their skills, and interviews.

The evaluation process included students from the Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Service, Front Office Operations, and Housekeeping programs. They were tested on their functional abilities, technical knowledge, professionalism, and communication skills in preparation for their international placements.

“Hospitality education today is no longer limited to local borders,” stated Dr. Vivek Pathak, Founder-Director of NIPS Hospitality Organization. In the last 30 years, the hospitality industry has expanded beyond its original hotel focus to become an interconnected web of careers in areas such as international hospitality, aviation, cruise lines, tourism, luxury services, and more. At NIPS, we are committed to helping students develop the academic, professional, and personal skills they need to compete successfully on a global scale.

Internships in Culinary Arts, Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage Service are available to students pursuing a Student or Trainee Work Visa in New Zealand through this program.

At the moment, NIPS Hospitality Group has campuses in Ranchi, Shillong, Kolkata, and Bhubaneswar.
