As part of its Responsible Luxury sustainability initiative, the ITC Gardenia in Bengaluru has reached yet another environmental benchmark: LEED Zero Water Certification from the US Green Building Council (USGBC).

This certification attests to the property’s capacity to utilise recycled water sources to equalise its overall potable water consumption. Following its 2009 LEED Platinum accreditation and its 2010 LEED Zero Carbon certification, ITC Gardenia has achieved yet another notable milestone. The hotel’s commitment to water conservation is unwavering. As a resource management endeavour, the property has installed rainwater gathering systems and runs an onsite bottling facility called SunyaAqua.

In addition, ITC Gardenia gets all of its power from renewable sources. Reducing carbon emissions, solid waste output, and water outflow while maintaining luxury hospitality standards are the goals of the hotel’s sustainability activities, according to the establishment.

“This recognition is a proud moment for all of us at ITC Gardenia,” commented Amandeep Kaur, General Manager of ITC Gardenia, on the accomplishment. Our ongoing endeavours to promote water conservation have been recognised with LEED Zero Water accreditation. We will persist in developing eco-friendly hospitality experiences that make a difference.

This hotel in Bengaluru uses green building methods and ecologically friendly technology. As part of ITC Hotels’ larger commitment to sustainability and ethical hospitality, ITC Gardenia has launched programs to reduce carbon emissions, water usage, and energy consumption.
