In a dazzling confluence of creativity, commerce, and purpose, the 38th Edition of Mumbai’s most anticipated annual showcase—the Women Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition—lit up the city with energy and vision. Organised by the Ladies’ Wing of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event reaffirmed its position as the ultimate stage for discovering India’s most exceptional women-led brands.
Held at the cusp of the festive season, the vibrant platform brought together 286 extraordinary women entrepreneurs from 31 cities, many of whom had no retail presence, unveiling inspired creations across gourmet food, high fashion, lifestyle design, artisanal crafts, and sustainable innovation. Paying homage to India’s living heritage, the exhibition featured master artisans and traditional weavers from remote regions, alongside handcrafted offerings from NGOs in Siliguri, Ganeshpuri (Palghar), Sujangarh, and Shekhawati—each preserving time-honoured techniques with integrity and pride.
On August 10th, Bollywood actress Manushi Chhillar attended the inaugural function, where she joined Rajyalakshmi Rao, President of the IMC Ladies’ Wing; Kalpana Shah, Chairperson of the Exhibition Committee; and Juveca Panda Chheda, Co-Chairperson. They were accompanied by other distinguished members of the Exhibition Committee, along with special guests Zarine Khan and Madhoo Shah.
Speaking at the event, Manushi Chhillar said: “This is not just an exhibition—it’s a celebration of women who dare to dream and work relentlessly to make those dreams come true. What I love most about women entrepreneurs is that they build with empathy, purpose, and heart, setting an example for young girls like me to believe in the possibilities of their dreams.”

Rajyalakshmi Rao shared, “My presidential theme this year, Evolve to Excel, beautifully captures the spirit of the event—it’s a call to action for every woman to embrace change, take on challenges, and move forward with confidence and courage.”

Kalpana Shah introduced this year’s theme—Raja Ravi Varma—celebrating the legendary artist’s portrayal of women as graceful and empowered. The ceremony began with the national anthem and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a heartfelt letter from Smt. Kokilaben Ambani, read by Juveca Panda Chheda, extended her warm wishes to all participants.
Throughout the day, the exhibition was graced by prominent personalities including Rashmi Thackeray, Sunita Kapoor, Poonam Sinha, Poonam Dhillon, and many more, adding to the event’s sparkle and stature.

With applications for the next Edition already streaming in, the Women Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition continues to stand not just as an event, but as a movement—fueling women-led innovation and enterprise across India.
