In an effort to provide students with internationally recognised credentials and industry-focused learning opportunities, the Institute of Bakery & Culinary Arts (IBCA) has partnered with the Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH) in the United Kingdom to enhance its international education offerings. Through this collaboration, IBCA students have the opportunity to earn CTH credentials, which can help them advance in their chosen fields of study and find work in the food, drink, and hospitality industries. The programs have been designed in collaboration with professionals in the field and well-known hospitality businesses to guarantee that learners will gain skills that are both practical and applicable.

The institute is the sole New Delhi-based provider of British OFQUAL-regulated credentials with college credit scores and CTH Empowered Gold Employment advantages, says IBCA.

Students participating in the partnership will be eligible to obtain CTH Student Membership, a digital learning platform that provides them with a wealth of resources related to the hospitality and culinary arts, as well as study guides, exam questions and answers, research articles, industry news, and job postings from all around the world. In addition to access to networking events, insider knowledge of the hotel business, and career assistance materials, membership offers a wealth of other benefits.

Dr. Balendra Singh, Director of IBCA, commented on the partnership, saying, “Our goal here is to equip students for rewarding careers in the international hospitality and culinary arts.” Through our collaboration with CTH, students are able to gain access to credentials that are accepted around the world, useful tools for the workplace, and courses that help them succeed in school and the workforce.

With the help of CTH’s industry associations, students are able to connect with a larger network of professionals, and after they finish their credentials, they may take advantage of pathways to professional memberships, which helps them advance in their careers and get recognition from their peers.
