Fly91, India’s pure-play regional airline, has introduced its newest product offering SmartBag91 — a customer-first initiative designed to simplify excess baggage for travellers while making regional flying more affordable, transparent and hassle-free.

As part of the initiative, passengers can now pre-book additional baggage at highly discounted rates across any sector on the FLY91 network, and not just on international connecting itineraries — a first-of-its-kind customer convenience feature in regional aviation.

Built around FLY91’s mission of “Connecting Bharat” through safe and reliable regional air travel, SmartBag91 addresses one of the most common traveller pain points: uncertainty and high costs associated with excess baggage.

Under the programme, passengers can choose from structured baggage slabs ranging from 5 kg to 30 kg at the time of booking, with pricing starting from INR 1000 and going up to just INR 3000 for 30 kg of additional baggage.

For travellers flying home, students relocating, business passengers, families, or customers carrying extra luggage for extended journeys, SmartBag91 offers greater predictability and flexibility well before arriving at the airport.
