India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, organized a seminar and ceremony on The Importance of Indian Vedic Culture at The Ashok, New Delhi. 53 PSUs participated in the event, underscoring a collective commitment to promoting Hindi and preserving India’s cultural heritage.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Director (Finance) and senior officials of ITDC, followed by addresses by distinguished speakers reflecting on the relevance of Vedic culture in modern times. The speakers emphasized the role of Vedic knowledge in shaping social values and their enduring significance.

The highlight of the seminar was Hindi Kavi Sammelan (poetry session), which featured captivating and humorous recitations.

The seminar concluded with Member Secretary Narakas Upakram-2’s inspiring address, underscoring the importance of integrating Hindi and regional languages in official communication. He shared his personal experiences and urged the participating PSUs to enhance the use of Hindi in their daily operations.
