Sarovar Hotels has appointed Ankush Sharma as the new General Manager – Development. Sharma brings with him more than two decades of diverse experience in the domestic and global hospitality industry and has been associated with pre-openings as well as running hotels. His last assignment was as General Manager for The Gaurs Sarovar Portico, Greater Noida.

Sharma possesses niche expertise in starting new operations, having created restaurant concepts, opened hotels, and spas. His experience encompasses Operations Management, Sales & Marketing, E-Commerce, Liaison, Pre Opening and Project Management. Before associating with Sarovar Hotels, he was the General Manager at Ramee Rose, Bahrain and the General Manager for Clarion Collection, Qutab, New Delhi. In the past, he has worked with hospitality brands like Taj Group Of Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels Group, etc.

He is a Business Hotel Manager holding a Hotel Management degree from AMC College of Hotel Management, Bangalore and an MBA from Amity University. He is the recipient of the top most hospitality icons General Manager Award by World Leadership Congress and Awards 2022.
