Scholarships for students studying baking and cooking from the Institute of Bakery & Culinary Arts (IBCA) can reach up to Rs 1,00,000. More than 400 students enrolled in the institute’s certification and diploma programs are anticipated to benefit from the project.
The institute claims that, subject to course format and eligibility requirements, scholarship payments will vary between Rs 25,000 and Rs 1,00,000. To that end, the project provides resources to budding bakers, chefs, and hospitality workers who are interested in obtaining official training in these fields. The courses offered by IBCA range from an 18-month Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts to a 12-month Diploma in Pastry Arts, a four-month Certificate Course in Pastry, and even specialist hobby courses in culinary arts and pastry.
The institute’s industry network also helps students find jobs and training in the hospitality and food service industries.
