The 145-key Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Salasar, located in the sacred town of Salasar in the Indian state of Rajasthan, is now under the supervision of ITC Hotels Limited. Developers from Envato Retreats Private Limited will work on the project.
The hotel, which is set to open on a six-acre plot of land, will serve the region’s increasing need for pilgrimage tourism, destination weddings, social gatherings, and leisure travel. Pilgrims from all over the world, including India, flock to Salasar every year to visit the Salasar Balaji Temple. There will be 145 rooms and suites, a restaurant open all day, and a lounge at the planned complex. The interior banquet and event area will be approximately 12,000 square feet in size, and there will also be a pool, spa, fitness center, and children’s club.
“Rajasthan remains one of India’s most loved tourism destinations, drawing visitors through its unique blend of heritage charm, culture, spirituality, and festivity,” said Anil Chadha, Managing Director of ITC Hotels Limited. Salasar is a popular tourist destination because of its unique position in this landscape. The acquisition of the Welcomhotel Salasar will allow ITCHL to fortify its position in Rajasthan across all of its brands.
The directors of Envato Retreats Private Limited, Anoop Manglunia and Bajrang Lal Batesar, agreed that the Welcome Hotel Salasar was the perfect choice for the growing requirements of this holy site. We are well-positioned to enhance the pilgrim experience because to ITC Hotels’ commitment to responsible hospitality and outstanding service quality. We are happy to be associated with a company that prioritises both modern conveniences and time-honoured customs.
The hotel will feature traditional courtyards, arches, jaalis, and other design characteristics from the Rajasthan region, drawing architectural inspiration from the state. With this new agreement, ITC Hotels is bolstering its position in the rapidly developing religious and leisure travel industry in Rajasthan.
