A new five-star hotel and conference venue in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, called The Residency Signature Madurai, has opened to the public. Extending over seven acres, the property encompasses approximately five lakh square feet and integrates lodging, eating, fitness, and expansive event spaces.

The building takes design cues from the temples of Madurai, according to Singaporean architect Wong Chiu Man of Warner Wong Architects. at addition to the five rooms at the convention centre, the hotel has 186 rooms and suites. The gopurams of the Meenakshi Temple and the Thiruparankundram hills can also be seen by guests.
