In 2026, Sterling Holiday Resorts was once again a top performer at the horticultural events in Tamil Nadu, winning 85 honours at the 128th Ooty Flower Show and the 63rd Kodaikanal Flower Show.

In recognition of their efforts in landscape design, garden upkeep, herbal gardens, flowering plants, and horticultural displays, four Sterling properties in Ooty and Kodaikanal were presented with accolades.

Sterling properties took home 44 accolades at the Ooty Flower Show. With 35 accolades to its name, Sterling Ooty Elk Hill was named “Rolling Cup for Herbal Garden – Outstanding,” and Sterling Ooty Fern Hill was named “Rolling Cup and First Prize in the Best Lawn Category,” just to name a few.

For their resorts in Kodaikanal, Sterling received 41 accolades. Sterling Kodai Lake received honours across 36 categories, including the “Rolling Trophy for Landscape Design”. Garden Maintenance, Best Landscape Design, and Best Medicinal Garden were among Sterling Kodai Valley’s five additional accolades.

Featuring flower gardens, lawns, herbal collections, and outdoor spaces inspired by destinations, the four resorts cover roughly 33 acres of beautiful grounds.

“These awards are a tribute to the incredible commitment of our horticulture and resort teams, who work tirelessly throughout the year to create landscapes that are as memorable as the destinations themselves,” said Dileep Nair, Senior Vice President of Sterling Holiday Resorts, commenting on the achievement. What makes this award more meaningful is that it continues our resorts’ long history of success at the Ooty and Kodaikanal Flower Shows, where they have consistently delivered exceptional service.

The award is a testament to Sterling’s commitment to managing landscapes responsibly; resort staff in Tamil Nadu’s hill regions tend to verdant areas that attract wildlife, house collections of medicinal and herbal plants, and provide guests with opportunities to connect with nature.

The firm also expressed gratitude to the horticulture, cleaning, engineering, security, and operations personnel for their work in upkeeping the resorts’ exterior spaces and landscapes.
