In honour of Prince Roland Bonaparte, who once lived at the illustrious Shangri-La Paris, the hotel has opened a new restaurant called Maison Roland in its own garden.

Presenting itself as a modern bistro in Paris, the eatery serves traditional French fare in a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. With its expansive patio and beautifully planted garden in the heart of Paris, this restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating for its patrons.

French classics made with fresh, local ingredients are the menu’s main attraction. As a starter, you can choose from sardine rillettes, tomato gazpacho, devilled eggs with salmon roe, a country-style terrine with pistachios, and salads with lardons and soft-boiled egg. The restaurant also offers a variety of caviar and Brittany oysters.

As for the main courses, you can choose from sole grenobloise, beef tartare, grilled sea bass with herb sauce, beef hanger steak with peppercorn sauce, and lobster in a variety of flavours. Floating island “Maison Roland,” chocolate mousse, crème caramel with Madagascar vanilla, strawberry coupe with frozen yoghurt, and pavlova are among the desserts.

The hours of operation for Maison Roland are as follows: Monday through Saturday from 12 pm to 10 pm, and Sunday from 7 pm to 10 pm. Locals and tourists alike will be able to enjoy a casual French meal in a garden setting at this restaurant.
