With the acquisition of the Ramee Vanam Resort in Sasan Gir, Gujarat, the Ramee Group of Hotels has expanded its reach into India’s wildlife and adventure tourism markets.

The new resort will be well-positioned to meet the increasing demand for ecotourism. Near Gir National Park, this site continues to draw tourists from all over the world who come to see the Asiatic lions. In addition to lodgings that blend in with nature, guests may enjoy dining experiences that highlight regional cuisine at this location. Additionally, guests will be able to take advantage of the resort’s tailored outdoor activities, such as cultural programs, nature walks, and jungle safaris.

“Sasan Gir is gaining prominence as a preferred destination for experiential travel. The resort presents an opportunity to offer a distinctive stay rooted in nature,” said Saurabh Gahoi, Senior Vice President – India of Ramee Group of Hotels. He emphasised that the property’s rooms will be carefully planned so that they mix in with the natural environment. For a complete and unforgettable experience, guests can anticipate locally inspired cuisine with authentic Gujarati flavours, immersive cultural evenings with tribal performances like Dhamaal and Siddi, and carefully planned outdoor activities like guided safaris through Gir National Park, nature walks, and bonfire gatherings.

As an alternate location for events outside of urban centers, the resort will also provide areas for social gatherings and corporate offsites.

The deal is in line with Ramee Group’s plan to enhance its leisure portfolio in India and expand into experience-driven, high-growth destinations.
