THRS (Travel and Hospitality Representation Services) has been appointed as the PR and sales representative for The Set Collection to promote their collection of iconic independent luxury hotels in Europe to the Indian market.

The Set Collection is a carefully curated luxury hotel group, comprising some of the world’s most immersive independent hotels located in London, Paris, Amsterdam, Jerusalem, Beijing, Hong Kong, Chengdu, and Shanghai. In a league of its own, The Set Collection is bringing together unique luxury hotels at the most outstanding addresses, in the world’s most vibrant destinations. These hotels have been celebrated as architectural masterpieces and historic hotspots for decades, unifying yesteryear’s craftsmanship and present-day splendour.

As part of its strategic plan to build awareness in the emerging Indian luxury travel market, it has joined hands with India’s leading representation company for luxury hospitality and tourism brands, THRS. The cooperation is chiefly concerned with the Group’s European hotels, Hotel Café Royal in London, Conservatorium in Amsterdam and Lutetia in Paris, as well as Mamilla in Jerusalem.

With their expertise in curating and implementing a sales, marketing, alliances and communications strategy, we aim to build and strengthen our position in the India market.”

Yeishan Goel, Group CEO, THRS, said, “With increasing consumer spends on international travel around the world, as well as luxury experiences and goods, India is ideally positioned to become one of the most lucrative outbound tourism markets. As evolved Indian travellers in the luxury segment seek more meaningful vacations and experiential luxury holidays across destinations near and far, there is an excellent scope for The Set Collection to build higher interest in this market for its exceptionally curated hotels. With iconic hotels located in some of the most popular travel destinations for Indians, The Set Collection has a unique experience to offer to the discerning Indian travellers. We couldn’t be more excited to introduce the hotels and strengthen their distribution in the Indian market.”

The Indian outbound travel market is among the fastest growing markets globally with approximately 80 million passports. Earlier, this year a report titled ‘Outbound Travel and Tourism – An Opportunity Untapped’ by Nangia Andersen LLP, in association with FICCI, has predicted that outbound trips from India will surpass $42 billion by 2024. Luxury tourism is one of the leading factors driving the demand in India outbound tourism travel market. The reports now indicate that this sector is poised for sustained growth in the succeeding years.
