Rhodes, Greece, will play host to the 2026 Annual Convention of the Travel Agents Federation of India, which will take place from October 4th to the 7th of that year.
The convention is anticipated to unite individuals from the Indian travel industry with those from the global tourism sector, offering a chance to connect, discuss business, and gain knowledge about new trends in the industry. The TAFI Convention is an important yearly event for the travel agency community in India because of the role it plays in building connections and enhancing industry collaboration.
With Greece as the site, TAFI hopes to bring its members closer to its European tourism partners while also showcasing the varied tourist attractions of the Mediterranean. Rhodes, with its unique combination of historical sites and modern attractions, is a great choice for the event, and it will only increase interest among Indian tourists, who are increasingly looking to visit Europe.
Expanding outbound potential and improving ties with Southeast Asian markets were the focal points of the previous TAFI convention, which took place in Vietnam in January 2025. Greece is the next stop on the federation’s worldwide convention location rotation plan, which aims to let members discover untapped markets and forge international alliances.
The theme, “Connecting Legacies – Crafting Futures,” is a fitting tribute to the accomplishments of the last forty years and a blueprint for TAFI’s future expansion. This idea is echoed by the convention’s core committee, which is headed by TAFI members who have made a name for themselves as chapter leaders.
