Varanasi welcomes a dynamic new culinary and social destination with the launch of Cabami, a
rooftop restaurant and bar by Minimalist Hotels. Conceptualised as a vibrant, high-energy escape
above the city, Cabami invites guests to come together over elevated food, bold cocktails, and an
atmosphere designed for lively conversations and unforgettable evenings.
The name Cabami, an acronym for Café and Bar by Minimalist, goes beyond its literal meaning to
embody a distinct feeling. It reflects the brand’s vision of creating a space that rises above the
everyday, offering an electrifying yet effortless environment where guests can connect, celebrate, and
immerse themselves in the moment. As the team puts it, “Cabami is designed to bring a fresh energy
to the city, a space above the noise where great food, music, and company come together to create an
experience that feels vibrant, social, and alive.”

Perched atop the Minimalist property in Varanasi, Cabami brings together contemporary rooftop
aesthetics with a warm yet dynamic atmosphere. The design language is clean and expressive,
featuring ambient lighting, thoughtfully curated seating, and a seamless transition from relaxed sunset
settings to high-energy night time experiences.
At its core, Cabami offers a globally inspired culinary journey. The menu draws from Mediterranean,
Italian, Japanese, and Pan Asian cuisines layered with subtle Indian influences to create a bold and
approachable dining experience. Signature highlights include the Lemongrass Crunch Prawns, a crisp
and aromatic seafood favourite, the Peppercorn Blaze Chicken, rich and flavour forward, and the
indulgent Shahi Malai Brioche, a decadent, dessert-inspired creation. Sushi enthusiasts can explore
offerings like the Tokio Crunchy Roll, reflecting Cabami’s playful take on global flavours.

Complementing the cuisine is a thoughtfully curated bar program featuring handcrafted cocktails,
premium spirits, and refreshing pours that amplify the rooftop’s energetic vibe. As the evening
unfolds, Cabami evolves into a buzzing social hub where music, cocktails, and a lively crowd come
together, making it an ideal destination for celebrations, group gatherings, and high-spirited nights
out.
Speaking about the launch, Gautam Munjal, Founder of Minimalist Hotels, shares, “With Cabami, we
wanted to create more than just a dining space, we wanted to build an experience that reflects how
people socialise today. It is about great food, strong cocktails, and an atmosphere that feels vibrant
and engaging. Varanasi felt like the perfect city to introduce this high-energy rooftop concept, and this
is just the beginning of what we envision for Cabami.”
With its distinctive rooftop setting, globally inspired menu, and high-energy approach to dining and
nightlife, Cabami is poised to become one of Varanasi’s most exciting new social destinations.
Building on this launch, Minimalist Hotels is set to expand the Cabami experience to other key cities
like Udaipur, with upcoming openings planned across India in the near future.
