The Andhra Pradesh ADTOI National Travel Mart 2026 has emerged as a landmark initiative in positioning the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) as a dynamic catalyst for accelerating domestic tourism growth across India.

Meticulously planned over a month through continuous discussions, strategic coordination, and collective teamwork, the two-day mega tourism Mart was successfully organised on 13th and 14th February 2026 at the prestigious V Convention Centre, Visakhapatnam — the only one of its kind in the city — in collaboration with the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority, Amaravati.

Grand Inauguration with Cultural Splendour

The Mart was inaugurated in a vibrant and culturally rich ceremony on 13th February 2026. The occasion was graced by the Hon’ble Chief  Guest Shri Kandula Durgesh, Minister for Tourism, Culture & Cinematography, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

In the august presence of dignitaries, VIPs, industry stalwarts, tour operators from across the country, Andhra Pradesh travel and tourism stakeholders, and members of the press and media, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp symbolised the dawn of new opportunities for domestic tourism in the state. Traditional cultural performances reflecting Andhra Pradesh’s rich heritage added colour and grandeur to the inauguration.

Record Participation and Robust B2B Engagement

The Mart witnessed overwhelming participation with nearly 700 registrations, including:

•            500+ Buyers representing destinations and source markets across India

•            80+ Sellers showcasing Andhra Pradesh’s diverse tourism offerings

Thousands of structured B2B meetings were conducted over two days, facilitating meaningful business exchanges and fostering long-term strategic partnerships. The participation was truly pan-India, with delegates from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Delhi NCR, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and other key source markets.

The scale and diversity of participation reaffirmed the Mart’s national stature and its role in strengthening interstate tourism networks.

Spotlight on Andhra Pradesh’s High-Value Tourism Potential

Day Two of the Mart showcased the immense potential of Andhra Pradesh as a high-value domestic tourism destination through seven insightful Business Sessions.

Eminent moderators and distinguished panellists led comprehensive discussions on emerging and high-growth tourism segments, including:

•            Coastal Tourism

•            Heritage Circuits

•            Tribal Tourism

•            Buddhist Tourism

•            Eco-Tourism

•            Wedding & MICE Tourism

The sessions highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s unique positioning as a multi-segment destination with strong infrastructure, diverse geography, and rich cultural assets. The deliberations reinforced the state’s capacity to attract experiential, spiritual, luxury, and event-based tourism.

Strengthening State–National Collaboration

The Mart served as a powerful platform to:

•            Strengthen collaboration between Andhra Pradesh stakeholders and national tour operators

•            Encourage curated product development and destination marketing

•            Promote sustainable and responsible tourism practices

•            Facilitate long-term trade partnerships

This edition has set a new benchmark for state-focused domestic travel marts and has reinforced Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to becoming one of India’s most progressive and investment-friendly tourism states.

Post-Event FAM Tours

The event concluded with a specially curated Post FAM (Familiarisation) Trip to key attractions around Visakhapatnam, offering visiting tour operators firsthand exposure to the region’s coastal beauty, heritage landmarks, and tourism infrastructure. The immersive experience is expected to translate into enhanced tour packages and increased tourist inflow into Andhra Pradesh in the coming years.

A Forward-Looking Vision

The Andhra Pradesh ADTOI National Travel Mart 2026 stands as a testimony to what strategic collaboration between industry bodies and state tourism authorities can achieve.

With renewed enthusiasm and strengthened partnerships, the participating tour operators are expected to carry forward the spirit of the Mart and contribute significantly to bringing more domestic travellers to Andhra Pradesh in the years ahead.
