To improve the tourism collaboration between the two countries, in New Delhi Shri Prahlad Singh Patel, Minister for Tourism & Culture (IC) met Mr. Harry Theoharis, Minister for Tourism of Greece today in New Delhi.

In the meeting, Shri Prahlad Singh Patel gave emphasis on the ancient and magnificent civilizations, artefacts, monuments, legacy and rich cultural heritage of both the nations. Discussions were done to know the potentials of cooperation between India and Greece in the ground of sharing of experience, information, and expertise, Beach & MICE Tourism, destination management, human resource development and investment in the hospitality and tourism infrastructure region. In this discussion, they also discussed about the collaboration in the field of conservation of cultural heritage and air connectivity between both the countries. 

The two countries were in agreement that these measures would advance and expand tourism between India and Greece.
