Masroor Ahmad Khan — Simply Known as Mak

His name in the travel trade is not Masroor Ahmad Khan — it’s Mak. A name earned across 24 uninterrupted years, beginning in 2002 at SOTC Travel Limited — one of India’s most prestigious travel organisations — where he spent 13 years rising from a travel agency sales executive to Vice President, heading the North India and East India Leisure Business.

During his SOTC tenure, Mak delivered 100% year-on-year growth across both regions — consistently ranking among the top performers nationwide and earning recognition for premium performance each year. The trade relationships he built at SOTC remain on the bedrock of his professional identity to this day.

Mak first worked alongside Irshad Dadan at SOTC. Irshad is now the Founder & CEO of One Above Global DMC Network. At SOTC, Mak led front-line sales while Irshad handled operations. Their professional bond, forged over two decades, has now culminated in this merger.

In 2015, Mak stepped into entrepreneurship. He joined VisaWale.com as a partner and built their DMC vertical under the Adi Holidays brand. He ran group departures across Europe, the Middle East, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. After Mak left, VisaWale launched DMC Bazaar to fill the void — a quiet testament to his achievements.

Post-pandemic, Mak founded Adi Holidays as an independent, UAE-focused DMC with proprietary infrastructure — an owned Dubai office, an owned transportation fleet, and preferred hotel contracting — providing Indian travel agents with a controlled, premium, end-to-end ground experience across the UAE that few DMCs in the market can match.
