With over 41 locations in India and over 4,000 keys in operation or under development, Cygnet Hotels & Resorts has grown from a regional hospitality company to a national platform for hotel management in its 12 years of existence.  Among the many brands that make up the company’s operations today are Cygnet Hotels, Cygnet Park, Cygnet Inn, Cozzet, Cygnet Resort/Retreat, and its premium platform for hospitality, Anamore.

Another way Cygnet is speeding up its growth is by preparing a number of hotels and resorts to open their doors in the next twenty-four to thirty months. Pushkar, Jaipur, Srinagar, Goa, Guwahati, Itanagar, Jim Corbett, Gurugram, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ujjain, Tirupati, Vrindavan, Tawang, Dhanbad, and Kharagpur are some of the places where upcoming projects are planned. This partnership with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is vital to the expansion plan of the organization. By forming this alliance, Cygnet will be able to tap into Wyndham’s 122 million strong member base, worldwide distribution network, and foreign sales channels.

The properties in Ayodhya, Jaipur, Itanagar, Tezpur, Dibrugarh, Bongaigaon, Bhubaneswar, and the Trademark Collection by Wyndham portfolio are already extensive.

“When we started Cygnet twelve years ago, we were convinced that India’s hospitality growth story would increasingly be shaped by emerging cities and untapped destinations,” commented Sarbendra Sarkar, Founder & Managing Director of Cygnet Hotels & Resorts, commenting on the milestone. Our strategy was based on capitalising on the North East, pilgrimage centers, and regional markets’ enormous potential before it became a fad in the industry.

“As we embark on our next phase of growth, our focus is on creating a globally connected hospitality platform rooted in regional India,” he continued on. We are well-positioned to take advantage of the changing travel industry and generate lasting value for our stakeholders thanks to our collaboration with Wyndham, growing portfolio of brands, and robust development pipeline.

Since its inception in 2014, the company’s holdings have grown to include 45 hotels and resorts catering to various demographics, including those on pilgrimage, business, leisure, and emerging markets. Its expansion plans have mostly concentrated on North East Indian locations, where it had an early foothold before the region’s tourism boom and infrastructure development, and on Tier II and Tier III cities. As it expands across South Asia and India, the company aims to surpass 100 hotels and 10,000 keys by 2030.
