SMK Helmets, India’s premier performance helmet brand, today announced a major milestone by signing an exclusive, season-long partnership with 21-year-old Indian racing prodigy, Kavin Quintal, competing for BMW EasyRace Team. Under this strategic agreement, Quintal will represent SMK Helmets on the global stage for the 2026 racing season, exclusively sporting the brand’s flagship racing helmet – the Titan Carbon Racing helmet.

By pairing India’s most promising international track athlete with homegrown, world-class safety technology, SMK is firmly establishing itself as a serious contender in high-performance motorsports.

To meet the safety demands of international motorsport, SMK Helmets is equipping Kavin Quintal with its flagship Titan Carbon Racing helmet throughout the 2026 season – covering races, training, and all championship appearances. Forged from advanced carbon fibre layers, the helmet delivers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio to maximize impact resistance while minimizing rider fatigue at high speeds. It features a multi-density EPS liner engineered to absorb heavy linear and rotational impact forces, alongside advanced aerodynamics optimized for high-speed stability. Built to meet elite global safety and homologation standards required by international racing bodies, the helmet is equipped with professional racing visors and tear-off systems to ensure uncompromised vision under intense racing conditions.

Sidharth Bhushan Khurana, Managing Director, SMK Helmets, “We are proud to welcome Kavin Quintal into the SMK family. As a brand rooted in Indian manufacturing excellence but built for global riders, watching an exceptional Indian talent take on European grids with our advanced safety gear is a historic moment. This partnership is not just a sponsorship; it is a testament to our vision transition seamlessly from dominating daily urban commutes to protecting athletes at the highest levels of international motorsport.”

Kavin Quintal, Rider “I’m incredibly happy and thrilled to officially announce my signing with SMK Helmets. This partnership means a lot to me personally because, as an Indian rider competing on the international stage, it makes me proud to be supported by a company from my own country – a company that shares the same passion, ambition, and vision for motorsport. Being the only Indian rider to have competed in the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship, with eight years of racing experience, has taught me how important support and trust are throughout this journey. I’m excited about what lies ahead together with SMK Helmets. I’m truly grateful to Gaman Racing for helping make this opportunity possible and for their continuous support. I look forward to representing both India and the brand on the international stage, giving my very best both on and off the track.”
