Guests at Novotel Goa Resort & Spa may now bring their four-legged friends along on their vacations thanks to a new pet-friendly hospitality approach. The Candolim resort has seen strong demand from visitors travelling from nearby cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Pune.
A recent event called the Pet Fed India – Goa Express Edition marked the transformation. It was a gathering of pet owners and animal lovers who were looking to connect with products, services, and wellness solutions that centred on pets.
The resort has created pet-friendly rooms, opened up additional recreational spaces, and instituted a personalised eating plan to complement the new service. Homemade bowls, bone broth, veggie stews, nutritious smoothies, and peanut butter cookies are all part of the pet menu. A la carte and in-room eating options are offered to guests, who can also specify any special dietary requirements.
“The vision for Novotel, Accor’s founding brand, is ‘Longevity Everyday,’ designed to redefine the role of hotels in supporting guests’ wellbeing and quality of life,” stated Cluster General Manager Amit Sangwan, speaking on this significant milestone. Pets are considered an extension of the family, and we want our guests to feel at ease and have meaningful experiences no matter where they go.
Additionally, he mentioned that a local NGO dedicated to animal care and welfare has partnered with the resort.
Amenities include 121 guestrooms, an all-day eating option at Food Exchange, a speciality restaurant called Forno Tinto, a bar called CHY, a kid’s club, a spa and salon, a fitness center, a pool and eight different meeting spaces, one of which being the Lotus banquet hall.
