Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, will play host to the 41st Annual Convention of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) from September 10–13, 2026, thanks to the generosity of the state government. Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach will play host to the event, which will feature networking programs, business workshops, the inauguration ceremony, and registration. Attendees will likely include high-ranking executives from the tourism ministry as well as 17–18 state tourism departments. At the inauguration session, you might also see the Union Minister of Tourism and the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
The theme and program of the convention are being carefully selected to tackle important opportunities and issues in the tourism sector, according to Ravi Gosain, President of the IATO.
The association is aiming for 900-1000 delegates to participate, according to Sanjay Razdan, Vice President of the IATO. Andhra Pradesh will exhibit its tourist offerings through post-convention tours.
Business discussions with legislators and industry leaders will be part of the three-day agenda. Cultural events, industry awards, and the IATO Run for Responsible Tourism are some of the other things going on. Those involved in the tourist industry will be able to meet and network at the Travel Mart, an Indian tourism fair, on September 11th and 12th.
It is believed that the treaty will encourage more cooperation and boost tourism in both local and foreign markets.
