As a first step into experience-led sports travel, Zo Trips—the curated group travel vertical of Zostel—has provided Formula 1 race weekend travel packages for the 2026 season.
The service is centred around community-based travel, which includes a mix of race access, curated accommodations, transport, and ground coordination. The Japanese Grand Prix is the first confirmed departure, with other packages planned for Azerbaijan and Singapore. The Australian Grand Prix of 2027 is also already accepting entries. The first 2026 group has reportedly sold out, and the business has had more than 1,500 requests from customers of all races, indicating a positive first reaction.
“The way people choose to travel today already reflects our belief that there is a fundamental transition happening in the tourism industry, away from destinations and toward experiences. From concerts to international athletic events, more and more people are basing their vacations around significant moments. In this transition, Formula 1 stands out among other events because of the unique way it unites culture, sport, and a truly international fan base. Our goal at Zo Trips is to provide Indian travellers with an easy and community-driven way to experience these moments. According to Aviral Gupta, CEO of Zostel and Zo World, “experience-first, high-intent, deeply connected” is the way travel is going to be in the future.
This change is a response to the growing demand for event-led, immersive foreign vacations among Indian tourists.
