Kerala is hosting the country’s first-ever Wedding and MICE Conclave- Powered By Kerala Travel Mart’ on August 14 to 16 this year in Kochi, providing luxury wedding organisers, major resorts and other stakeholders in these fast-growing sectors a platform to exhibit their products, perspective and vision.
The Kerala Travel Mart Society (KTM), in collaboration with the Government of Kerala, organises the B2B event. It seeks to fully utilise the potential of marriages, as well as MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions), as catalysts for tourism in the state. The event comes amid the increasing need to update and integrate regional travel with global trends in the sector as authorities strive to transform ‘God’s Own Country’ into India’s top destination for weddings and MICE.

Kerala Travel Mart Society is the country’s first public-private partnership initiative, comprising all the stakeholders in the travel and hospitality sector in the state. It organises the Kerala Travel Mart (KTM), India’s largest B2B biennial event, which showcases the state’s destinations and products to a global audience.

‘The Wedding and MICE Conclave’, which features a series of business meetings and seminars, will specially promote Kerala’s best beaches, heritage buildings and backwater resorts. It will also introduce wedding and honeymoon packages. Besides hosting a major exhibition in the wedding-MICE tourism sector, the event will also feature an exhibition showcasing hotels, resorts, conference venues, conference organisers, and technical workers in the MICE sector. The new platform will connect sellers from Kerala with service providers in the Destination Wedding and MICE operations sectors.
