As the Westin Mumbai Garden City’s culinary offerings grow, the property has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Vikas Singh to the role of director of food & beverages.

With nearly twenty years of experience in the five-star hotel industry, Singh is an expert in the areas of culinary leadership and managing massive food and drink operations. He is an experienced Marriott International expert who has worked in a variety of high-end hotel settings, all the while keeping an eye on operational efficiency, guest happiness, and quality standards. Singh has extensive expertise in the hospitality industry, having most recently held the position of executive chef at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. During his time there, he oversaw the hotel’s dining options and banqueting services, enhancing both guest satisfaction and personnel productivity.

Singh is now in charge of the hotel’s food and beverage strategy as a whole, with an emphasis on developing talent, ensuring sustainability, providing excellent service, and introducing new innovations.

Leadership and culture are just as important as cuisine in the food and beverage industry today, according to Singh. I’m looking forward to leading The Westin Mumbai Garden City with vision, imagination, and purpose as we upgrade our guests’ stays.

He is a graduate of the Marriott Development Academy – Food and Beverage (MDA F&B) 2023-24 class and has a bachelor’s degree in international hospitality management.
