The Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department hosts an exciting drone show during the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. The drone show will narrate the ancient historical events that led to the genesis of the Mahakumbh. Scheduled to take place on January 24, 25, and 26, the show will feature different themes for each day at the Sangam. The event will showcase a unique blend of tradition and technology, with Make-in-India drones lighting up the skies in Mahakumbh city.
Uttar Pradesh’s Tourism and Culture Minister, Jaiveer Singh, shared details of the event, emphasizing its grandeur and significance. “On January 24, the theme of the drone show will celebrate Uttar Pradesh Diwas, followed by National Tourism Day on January 25, and Republic Day on January 26. The show will also depict the legendary tale of the Samudra Manthan, highlighting the emergence of 14 Ratnas, the greatness of Lord Shiva, who consumed the poison to save the world, and the sacred Kumbh Kalash, from which the drops of Amrit fell, marking the genesis of the Mahakumbh. Additionally, the holy chant of “Om” will resonate the atmosphere of Mahakumbh with spiritual energy”, the minister said.
Over three days, 2,500 drones will create intricate religious and cultural formations in the sky.
On Uttar Pradesh Day, the drone show will be free for visitors, offering an unparalleled visual treat to millions of devotees.
The Tourism Department has completed preparations for this grand event, aiming to make the Mahakumbh both divine and majestic. Devotees attending the Mahakumbh will witness a confluence of spirituality and innovation with the Make-in-India drones showcasing India’s technological prowess.
