As part of their ongoing commitment to improving guest experiences, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts have expanded its wellness program, Aujasya by The Leela. On the occasion of World Health Day 2026, the Aujasya by The Leela Signature Ritual and Aujasya by The Leela Sampoorna were introduced as part of the most recent improvements.

In 2022, Aujasya was introduced as a way to promote holistic wellness by integrating movement, mindfulness, and proper nutrition. Shakti, Shanti, and Soumya are the guiding principles of the curriculum, which prioritises harmony and tailors its offerings to each individual guest.

To help with the usual interruptions that come with travelling, Sampoorna has devised a new wellness dining idea. It aims to provide balanced nutrition that aligns with individual preferences and offers both planned meal plans (such as Anti-Inflammatory, Detox, and High-Protein) and homestyle options.

“Wellness at The Leela has always been about making experiences that matter, experiences that last, and not just about the physical health. The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts’ Head of Wellness and Senior Vice President of Operations for the North, Anupam Dasgupta, stated that Aujasya by The Leela combines India’s age-old wisdom with a more intuitive, rhythm-led approach to contemporary wellness. The goal is to help guests feel rejuvenated, balanced, and in harmony with themselves.

The company intends to increase the number of spas and wellness retreats in its portfolio and has also unveiled a 90-minute Signature Ritual.
