Sharjah, the UAE’s third-largest emirate, is shining brighter than ever as the highly anticipated Sharjah Light Festival 2025 kicks off in a burst of vibrant colours. This 14th edition of the spectacular event promises awe-inspiring light and music displays, transforming Sharjah’s iconic landmarks and architectural treasures into dazzling works of art. Organised by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), the festival will continue illuminating the city until February 23.

The festival offers a mesmerising journey through the heart of Sharjah’s culture, art, and innovation, blending beauty, education, and creativity into one unforgettable experience. With events extending to the east coast towns of Dibba, Khorfakkan, and Kalba, the festival energises the entire emirate, enriching residents and visitors. It integrates tourism, culture, and creativity in a way that resonates deeply with the local community, creating lasting memories for all who attend.

This year’s Sharjah Light Festival promises to captivate audiences with its innovative use of light technology and specially curated music. It will showcase iconic landmarks such as Sharjah Mosque and Al Majaz Waterfront in a whole new light. The designs are a poetic reflection of local culture, stories, and traditions, with some inspired by nature, space, and modern art—each one beautiful and thought-provoking.

The 2025 festival will light up a wide array of stunning locations, including Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, Al Rafisah Dam, Al Hefaiyah Beach in Kalba, Sharjah Mosque, BEEAH Headquarters, Al Dhaid Fort, Al Hamriyah New General Souk, Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Al Tayyari Mosque in Dibba, offering a genuinely immersive celebration of light and culture.
