Introducing this evening’s elusive protagonists: the black and white treasures of the secret grove. Starring alongside the likes of Turbot, Salted Mushroom, and Fresh Egg Tagliolini, these tantalising Umbrian delights meet with soulful tunes for an evening of intrigue and indulgence.

TREASURES OF THE ETERNAL MAHARAJA’S EXPRESS

Born of stardust, spice and song, Ellgy Island’s cosmic locomotive runs through ages and worlds, sharing gilded gifts and treasured tastes from the Subcontinent. Think Tandoori Kebabs, myriads of Biriyani, Malai Lobster, Royal Curries, plus a vibrant Chaat Station to complete the feast. Add rare beers from the Himalayas, DJs and dancers for a soul-stirring and unmissable adventure.

Amid Ellgy Island’s misty lotus ponds and soaring bamboo, live melodies and DJ beats entwine with a fragrant Asian feast. Himalayan Momos and Noodles, Lotus Root Spring Rolls, sizzling Wok creations, golden Crispy Pork Belly and tender Roasted Duck cast an enchanting spell on the senses.

SUSHI-TOSHI OMAKASE POP-UP

28 December to 7 January

As Ellgy rises from the mist, so do its exclusive dining experiences. First to its secret shores is a rare Omakase journey: Japanese maestro Chef Kobayashi from Kobe’s Sushi-Toshi presides over just two sittings, each seating for 12 guests. Sushi, Sake, and exquisite, succulent Wagyu beef specialities from his native area, mysterious menus that shift with the tides. Chef Kobayashi will also be sharing his culinary wonders at our Shipwrecked Beach (Dec 29) and New Year’s Eve (Dec 31) parties.

TASTE OF A NEW DAWN

The Oracle awakens as the claws carry messages from the deep – some answers, some riddles, all deliciously revealed in steam and shell. Expect an evolving celebration of lobster in many forms, flavours and presentations, each a revelation still to be written by the tides.
