Delhi is now home to a new nightlife concept called Together, which takes its cues from the traditional kissa culture of Tokyo and introduces a listening bar structure. The bar promotes itself as a space that prioritises design and experiences through its emphasis on music, handcrafted cocktails, and small-group gatherings. The location, which reflects a trend in urban nightlife towards curated, low-volume environments, is situated in a covert lane and is designed to emphasise discovery and exclusivity. Studio Dangg’s Manav Dangg created a cosy and enveloping atmosphere inside with wood accents, textured mirrors, and low-level red lighting.
Guests are shaped by a specialised listening room, customised jazz playlists, and vinyl records, all of which remain integral to the concept. Together is for globetrotters and those who are interested in seeing more of the world, according to co-founder Vansh Pahuja. In the space between Delhi and Japan, we are present. Indulge in the tasty cocktails and listen to the soothing, retro jazz music. The beverage program is influenced by Japanese design principles, which emphasise technique and balance. We take inspiration from Japanese sensibilities—savory notes, highball forms, peaceful balance’, stated Ravi Negi, Head of Bar. When you take everything out, the flavour is still there.
In keeping with the bar’s communal and immersive orientation, the food menu pairs well with the format, offering sharing dishes and small plates. Our shared goal is to meet the growing need in urban areas for unique, design-forward hospitality experiences.
