In tackling food waste, the resort’s SYKER digester has processed over 13,000 kilograms of garbage, offsetting an impressive 32.9 tons of CO₂ emissions in just two months.

Guests are encouraged to participate in the mission through initiatives like ‘Stay Green’ and ‘Skip the Clean,’ which offer loyalty points for supporting sustainable practices. The resort actively engages with the local community through beach clean-ups, partnerships with the UAE Food Bank, tree-planting drives, the annual Kilo of Kindness campaign, and inclusive hiring practices. These efforts are tracked through Accor’s GAIA2 platform, ensuring a measurable impact across key sustainability metrics, including food waste, water usage, and carbon emissions.
